How to find quality information online about health

So you’ve decided you can live a long and healthy life; you plan to stop lying on the bed and getting to the gym to live a healthier “lifestyle”. Great! If you have been “struggling” trying to get rid of your problem, why don’t you try these steps for yourself too? If you think it may help you, then keep reading as there are lots of great suggestions!

When I started to research online for ways I could help myself I went to multiple different websites to find “solutions” but I could not find them as they all seemed to have the same answers. How do a million different websites all give me only the same answer? Well, guess what? They are really the same “cloned” website and have lots of similar ideas but not all are correct. On top of all this, the advice did not even apply to me.

I found that Dr. Bill Campbell on Instagram is a person you can trust. He is currently an Exercise Physiology Professor who is conducting research on weight loss. For more about how to find quality information to make being active super easy, skip to minute 05:58 of our conversation.

Tying doing the “right” fitness thing into our culture

The phrase “You are what you eat” applies to what you consume. It is such a huge part of us being healthy. In my experience, school did not teach me much about how to eat appropriately using examples from my Asian culture. It took a while for me to figure out the proportions of everything so that I could enjoy my culture while staying healthy.

It was very frustrating. I found myself changing the count of bread to how many bowls of rice I could eat. Obviously, I do not recommend eliminating a whole part of our food group. Now, I have about a quarter of food for rice and the rest are vegetables, fruits, and protein.

To do what we must, we can choose to be a little lazier. Or a little more dedicated. But either way, we’re always, if only a hair bit, less active. That’s an illusion created by the way we were raised and by our values. By society, we are immersed in: and by the culture created by our society. We have certain values that we must defend. I want to emphasize that doing the “right thing” isn’t the only option for finding that elusive blissful, happy place where all feelings are under the conscious control of your conscious mind. Skip to minute 07:40 to hear more about this part.
